The second type of battery backup sump pump can be installed alongside your primary pump in the same pump pit. These pumps often feature indicators to alert you to the battery’s status, such as a continuous beep when the battery is low or a chirp similar to a smoke detector with a low battery charge. We had a pretty unusual sewer drain issue that turned into a much bigger headache than expected, and he went above and beyond to get it taken care of.

He was straightforward, easy to talk to, hardworking, and clearly knew what he was doing. No BS, no runaround, very honest and fair. You can tell he takes pride in his work and actually cares about the people he’s helping.

Tim was out to our home today and we were incredibly impressed with his expertise, ethics and determination to resolve our problem. Tim and his associate worked in the pouring rain to get to the bottom of our flooding in our lower patio. Anyone else, would have tried to fix it and when the attempt didn't work, they would have left. Tim searched high and low for drain access and would not stop until he found the solution. Tim took the time to not only call back to keep me posted about an appointment time for a clogged line, but he took the time to thoroughly investigate the house and lines before rushing to repair. It made me feel good during a very stressful time. He talked through his thinking and then tested his work with gallons of water to ensure the line was clear. He was recommended on Angi’s list so after the initial sewer company’s failure to clean the line both with rodding and hydrojetting,  Tim was an alternative to try. He used a smaller claw to initially get through the blockage and then proceeded to clean out the entire sewer liner to the street.  We appreciate Angi’s list and Tim from Drains inc. for his honesty and persistence and for saving me the aggravation, headache and expense of the sewer line replacement and will continue to use and recommend him to others.
